A routine part of grooming for many dogs, especially smaller breeds — added onto a full groom or bath rather than booked as its own appointment.
Some dogs need this done regularly to stay comfortable; others rarely need it at all. If you’re not sure whether your dog does, we’re happy to check during the visit and only perform it if needed.
If your dog is scooting, licking excessively, or showing signs of discomfort in that area between visits, it’s worth a vet check as well — recurring issues sometimes point to something beyond routine maintenance.
